PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I am a highly experienced DOP/Videographer, Dubbing Mixer/Editor and Broadcast Manager/Technologist with vast experience in all aspects of TV production and delivery who has worked with a variety of high profile companies and clients.
I also have experience in Customer Service, Training and Content Production utilising a variety of digital hardware and software including Final Cut Studio 2, Pro Tools, AMS Neve Logic consoles, DFC & AudioFile, I have worked in all aspects of broadcast and film production inc HD.
I have recently been contracted as an HD cameraperson/editor and operative for mainstream broadcasters/companies including the BBC, SKY, ITV, Arqiva and Globecast.

CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS:

2009-2011: DOP and HD Videographer / multi skilled broadcast engineer
Working as a director of photography and camera / sound operator on numerous high definition projects for major broadcasters and production companies including the BBC, SKY and ITV.
Editing and post production for film and TV projects to produce full broadcast quality HD content across multi HD delivery platforms.
I have also been acting as exec producer with several production companies to develop content for delivery in full broadcast HD and on-line to You Tube and other cross media platforms.

2005-2009: iNorthEast TV – Internet content and development
Working with colleagues, in Durham Associates, I have enjoyed extending skills within the environment of new technology developing and setting up a new test Internet TV channel that has been endorsed by both ONE North East and Northern Film and Media.

1994-2005: FREELANCE – Post production dubbing mixer and digital editor
I have worked at the highest levels of audio post production on TV and film projects as a digital post production specialist.  Clients include Talkback Thames, Freemantle Media, Editz, Yorkshire TV, Oasis TV, Plus 8 and Teddington Studios dubbing and editing a variety of ITV, BBC, Ch4, SKY programmes and feature films.

1991-1994: AMS NEVE PLC – Customer Support and Training Manager
Responding to world wide Customer Service queries relating to hardware, software and operational issues. Regarding Audiofile, Logic consoles and associated broadcast video equipment.
Operational training in post production and broadcast audio for Audiofile and Logic users worldwide. R&D operational software development and distribution to end-user.
AMS Neve sales team support for customer demonstration and trade fairs.

1980-1991: TYNE TEES Television – Senior Sound Engineer/Supervisor
Having commenced as Trainee, I progressed to Senior Engineer, overseeing technical and personnel requirements for both studio and outside broadcast. Location film crew work, outside broadcast / news operations including all aspects of film and television production.
